Background

I am a civil engineer (in training) with an interest in urban planning, bicycles, politics, and tech of all sorts. "jackoats" is a cheesy pseudonym coming from the famous phrase "Jack Of All Trades, master of none", alluding to my tendency to dip my feet into countless hobbies and activities, but never sticking with one enough to become an expert in any of them.
